I have fond memories of exploring the comment section of the manliness blog The Art of Manliness; sometimes the comment section was more fun than the article itself!
I used to have a blog called The Florida Explorer and it was my pride and joy and it died. It died not because I ran out of things to write, but because I could not get my articles as good as I wanted them.
Well, the celebrations and fun are over and the New Year starts in earnest today. Back to the drudgery of work. Back to quiet desperation. Is this the year I actually made a positive, forward change or it will be more of the same–day dreaming, day dreaming, and more day dreaming?
Every time I launch a new blog I get a jolt of electrical excitement, joyous joy, and, of course, thoughts of making a lot of money!
More than once I ghosted a blog for months and then quietly let the domain expire, allowing massive amounts of work to simply vanish from the internet.
The headline is what I wrote on a Post-It Note that is attached to my computer. “Admit You Want To Make $10,000 Per Month Blogging And Get To Work!”
When I started blogging I said to myself, “I’m gonna blog every day! Rain or shine!”
