It will bring you to the Amazon website and will have bullet points with technical info about why this iPhone cigarette lighter car charger is good. It is good. I don’t understand the jargon though, so I’ll just tell you what it’s like to own one.
For my job I drive my car a lot. I work in child welfare, so I’m always driving around checking up on the kids. I use GPS a lot, which drains the phone battery. My old charger broke, wires were sticking out all over the place and hardly worked unless positioned perfectly, which was tough. The cord wasn’t bendy.
I told my wife I needed a new cord. She is good about taking care of me and figuring that stuff out. She researched and got me the Rombica CFC68A Car Charger.

Maybe it’s so people can find it easier when searching?
I don’t know. But it’s the same thing that I’m talking about.
My favorite three things about the charger is this:
- It is duel, so two charging cords. Which is nice. I can charge my work phone and my personal phone at the same time, or let the foster kids charge their phones when they are riding with me if they have an iPhone (most of them have android or other).
- The cords are long. They can reach around the car much better than my old charging cord and can go all the way to the back seat.
- The cords are really bendy. Since I use GPS on my phone a ton, I like to put the phone in my cup holder to prop it up. The cord is bendy enough where I can prop the phone in the cup holder and still have it plugged in. My old charger couldn’t do that.
That’s not all though.
The charger glows blue which looks pretty cool.
Also, the cords can be detached from the charger. They are USB connected, so one day I forgot my phone charger for the office and I was able to take the cord from my Rombica charger and plug it into my work computer to use as a power source and charge my phone that way.
If you have a vehicle with USB plugs you can use the cords directly in them. A lot of new vehicles have that.
I’ve been using the Rombica charger for ~6 months and there is no signs of wear and tear, so I think they should last me a long time.
It’s pretty cheap too. It’s good and much better than my old charger. I recommend it.
